The Optimist
.
A new collection of wood-based decorative panels from Kronospan are the latest additions to the extensive Kronodesign range at Hill’s Panel Products (HPP).
The board, doors and fittings supplier and manufacturer is adding the just released Trends Origin Stories collection to the range available from its headquarters in Oldham and trade counter in Sheffield.
The Adaptable
It features 41 decors created to inspire designers, architects and craftsmen, says Kronospan, which has been supplying HPP for more than 30 years, and the collection has the flexibility to be used in home, retail and business settings.
The environmentally friendly products combine design and authentic woodgrain textures in repeat free designs to bring a realistic feel of nature to the locations where they are installed.
Dan Mounsey, HPP’s Marketing and Business Development Director, says: “Kronospan is one of our leading suppliers, and we’re proud of our partnership that is based on our shared values of quality and sustainability in everything we do.
The Passionate
“The Trends Origin Stories collection will be a welcome addition to the Kronodesign products that already feature among our best sellers, and we’re sure the collection will join them when it arrives in February.”
The collection is divided into four ranges:
The Nomad – an eclectic mix based on weathered timbers and natural fabric textures for an ethnic and handcrafted look. The Adaptable – described as inventive, flexible, creative and adaptable, making it ideal for domestic and business settings. The Passionate – an impressively realistic range with a rich, opulent and masculine ambience. The Optimist – a bright, colourful, design-forward style that is playful, open-minded and with a nostalgic feel ideal for domestic and retail locations. They are all based on Kronospan’s high-quality core boards and are available with matching edge banding to cater for any amount of creativity.
Known as co-ordinated solutions, there are synchronised embossed and smooth-finished MF boards that come in matt, gloss and metal finishes to add a reflective element to a design, in addition to a range of on-trend colourways to bring out the best in the woodgrain finishes.
“Although we develop our designs exclusively, we always ensure that our products are complementary,” says Kronospan. “So, whatever the project – whether it’s planning, designing or furnishing – our products all work together.”

All of the new décors will be available as PVC-edged doors using HPP’s exclusive Aspects Optima service.
