Following a recent trip to Australia, Ranheat have appointed a main distributor for Ranheat products, based just outside of Sydney, Australia.
Ranheat boilers and heaters have been sold in many parts of the world, including America and Africa, so why now Australia?
There are no trade restrictions or tariffs on goods from the UK into Australia. With the balance of trade mainly from Australia to the UK, the costs of shipping containers to Australia have fallen sharply, making it viable to ship from the UK to Australia.
In addition, Australia has an expanding and thriving woodworking industry which is rapidly catching up with legislation currently in place in the UK.
Also, there is no language difference (unlike the USA) where a skip is called a “dumpster” and a chimney a “smokestack”.
Ranheat has its origins in Randers in Denmark and several Danish dust extraction companies are well established in Australia, including Nederman, Moldow and Aagaard. All these Danish companies have worked with Ranheat over the years, so Ranheat is a natural choice for the Australian market.
Most of the Australian population is based on the coast and landfill is becoming scarcer and more expensive, as is transport. Also, there is an increasing “Green Agenda” in Australia, where there is a vast resource of home-grown timber.
