Shed manufacturer opts for Salvador

Leeds-based Woodlands Sheds has opted for crosscut technology from Daltons Wadkin.

Old established specialist manufacturers of sheds and log cabins, Woodlands Sheds, recognising the need to update and improve their crosscutting capability, approached Daltons Wadkin sales director Andy Walsh to find the ideal solution.

After visiting Woodlands’ extensive manufacturing facility Andy was quick to recognise the Salvador Super Angle 600 angle cutting machine as the answer to their requirements and subsequently the machine was delivered and installed by Daltons Wadkin engineers in June at Woodlands’ manufacturing and timber machining plant in Rodley near Leeds.

The fast Salvador Super Angle 600 programmable optimising cross cutting system will cut straight or angles up to 70 degrees with an angle change setting of less than a second and an accuracy of 0.1°.

The Daltons Wadkin team were on hand to commission the new equipment and provide familiarisation training and Woodlands director David Moran says: “We are delighted with the new machine. We received expert advice from the Daltons Wadkin team and the supply, delivery and installation went like clockwork. The machine is out performing anything we have had before and we are quite sure that the Salvador will provide huge benefits as time goes along.”

Andy Walsh comments: “Woodlands Sheds are a major manufacturing outfit and the type of products they produce fit the capability and performance of the Salvador like a glove. We were delighted to be in a position to assist Woodlands in this venture and feel sure their investment will be well rewarded.”
