Based in Colne, Lancashire, CNC Support has dedicated itself to the full service and technical support of CNC routers and machining centres for the woodworking and allied industries for the past 28 years. With particular expertise in CNC Servicing, spindle rebuild, automation, re-engineering and CNC retrofit, CNC Support’s skilled team of engineers have decades of experience in the CNC engineering industry.
This depth of knowledge regarding the detailed specification and performance characteristics of machinery and equipment allows CNC Support to create a tailored solution for a customer’s particular set-up and manufacturing approach.
In 2024, CNC Support announced the expansion of its business premises to a brand new 12,000 sq.ft. custom-built facility. Doubling the company’s building size helps to ensure CNC Support continues to provide what it is proud to claim is “the largest range of CNC router stock in the UK”.
This exciting development for the family-owned business allows it to expand the products it offers, including products for the tooling, CNC laser and Robot Routing markets, within a purpose-built showroom.
New and existing customers are also able to receive tailored demonstrations from the talented team of specialist engineers. More than a decade ago, CNC Support began to design and sell a range of CNC routers and machining centres, branded ‘CNC Dynamics’.
As well as a variety of standard machines, the majority of the company’s output is bespoke to some degree, providing the optimum solution for the customer’s specific needs.
Its portfolio becomes ever more sophisticated as time goes on. The CNC Dynamics EVO machines, for example, have a surface probing option which can be used on variable thickness products. The machine can check component location and update zero shifts, while the system is capable of storing reverse-engineered data.
CNC Support is also an authorised distributor of AlphaCam, and is able to supply AlphaCam packages with customers’ new CNC Dynamics Router. The company can configure customers’ existing AlphaCam system for use with their new machines. In-house training covers both the AlphaCam system and the operation of the new CNC Dynamics machine.
With over 35 years’ experience, an ever-expanding and highly-skilled workforce and next-day callouts wherever possible, CNC Support is the go-to company for servicing and repairs of most makes and models of CNC routers throughout the UK.
