With its headquarters and demonstration facilities based in Somerset, Complete CNC Solutions Ltd is the exclusive UK & European distributor for all Tekcel CNC flatbed routing systems and products.
With over 30 years of CNC routing experience and headed up by MD, Julian Sage, this enthusiastic and professional company continues to strive for excellence in providing CNC router solutions, consumables and accessories, along with high quality after sales service, support and advice to many companies in many industry sectors.
From the manufacturing plant in Western Australia, Complete CNC Solutions receives all Tekcel CNC routing products direct to its premises in Cheddar, where final build, tests, checks and PDI’s are fully carried out by its team of experienced technicians and field-based engineers, before being safely delivered, installed and trained at the customer’s site.
Companies looking to diversify have been investing in Tekcel CNC routing systems for many years now and these products have gained a growing reputation as one of the most well-respected, versatile and reliable three-axis CNC flatbed routers on the market today.
With over 6000 Tekcel units installed worldwide and with 500+ installations in the UK & Ireland alone, these world class CNC systems continue to deliver high quality output and performance, whilst returning excellent profits in some of the most demanding and diverse market sectors. These include woodworking, cabinet making & joinery, décor & interior design, plastics & metal fabrication, packaging, shopfitting, architectural & cladding, 3D model making, sign, graphic & display, point of sale, exhibition, print finishing, TV & film prop design.
Although the product range is wide and varied, the Tekcel EXR 2 x 3m CNC routing system is the most popular machine supplied by Complete CNC Solutions. The Tekcel EXR has an outstanding proven track record and is a class-leading production workhorse in this format.
It’s been a top choice for many prestigious companies over the years, due to its ease of use, abundance of innovative features and, above all, its ability to machine so many different types of materials, all from the one machine.
Some CNC suppliers can only offer a “single type material” machine, which is only dedicated to perhaps wood or metal for example, but Tekcel continues to manufacture CNC machines that are highly material versatile and upgradable, with add-ons and options allowing for a non-restrictive solution for customers to open up and diversify into new and lucrative opportunities.
“This was very forward thinking by the Tekcel manufacturer from the start and they have been offering this format for many years now,” comments MD, Julian Sage. “With the uncertainty of the last two years, this is really giving customers a focus on new opportunities and the chance to future-proof their businesses”.
Machinable materials include MDF, MFC, chipboard, HPL, OSB, plywoods, soft & hardwoods, industrial plastics, cast & extruded acrylics, polycarbonates, ABS, rigid PVC, HD foams & model boards, aluminium composite material, aluminium, brass, copper and thin stainless steel. With the simple addition of a knife-cutting option fitted to the machine, the Tekcel system can even be turned into a digital cutter for paper-based materials, card, corrugated, cork, rubber and many other flexible materials too.
Whatever customers’ requirements, the Tekcel EXR 2 x 3m system makes light work of it, processing popular sheets sizes of 8’x4’, 10’ x 5’, jumbo boards and metric 2 x 3m. With a standard gantry height of 150mm, this allows a maximum material cut thickness of 100mm. In order to cut these various types of materials efficiently customers do need a high-quality performance machine and spindle, which is why all Complete CNC Solutions’ Tekcel routing systems are equipped as standard with vacuum table hold down, tool length indexing, 17 bay auto tool changers, along with the industry standard powerful high-performance HSD-manufactured spindles.
“Supplying the full CNC solution package from start to finish, is one of the key requirements our customers look for,” continues Julian. “With our fully stocked range of dedicated solid carbide tooling and accessories, along with our service, support and spare parts departments, we have everything covered for you.”
Complete CNC Solutions offers full in-house or on-site demonstrations to potential customers wanting to put its Tekcel CNC systems to the test.
