Titus to show cabinet hardware solutions at kbb Birmingham

Titus will demonstrate its comprehensive range of precision-engineered cabinet hardware solutions at kbb Birmingham 2026, Stand R82.

The company’s showcase will highlight how innovation in hardware technology continues to deliver measurable benefits for manufacturers looking to enhance production efficiency while meeting evolving consumer expectations.

Enhanced T-type hinge family

Central to Titus’ stand will be the expanded T-type hinge range, demonstrating the company’s commitment to meeting diverse market requirements through thoughtful product development. The T-type family now includes several specialised variations, each engineered to address specific manufacturing and design challenges.

The T-type PressTo is a significant advance in hinge installation efficiency. Featuring tool-free cup fixing with an audible click-lock system, this innovative hinge dramatically reduces assembly time while ensuring reliable attachment.

When combined with Titus’ unique 3Way snap-on mounting system, which enables intuitive hinge-to-plate mounting in three directions, the PressTo sets new standards for quick and reliable cabinet assembly. This is particularly valuable for manufacturers of tall cabinets with multiple hinges, where traditional installation methods can be time-consuming and challenging.

The sophisticated T-type Noir finish meets the growing demand for premium aesthetic solutions in contemporary furniture design. This elegant dark finish reduces the prominence of cabinet hardware, creating a more integrated look that complements modern, minimalist designs. The Noir finish’s versatility allows it to pair seamlessly with various cabinet colours and finishes, from light tones to dark woods, providing manufacturers with design flexibility while maintaining the T-type range’s renowned performance characteristics.

The T-type i170 with integrated damper offers exceptional functionality for applications requiring wide opening angles. Allowing cabinet doors to open to a full 170 degrees, this hinge provides complete access to cabinet interiors while maintaining exceptional stability throughout its operating range.

With zero door protrusion at 90 degrees, it’s particularly well suited for kitchen units with inner drawers or pull-out systems. All T-type hinges deliver Titus’ Confident Close action – a consumer-preferred soft-closing mechanism characterised by late-start deceleration and quiet landing.

Comprehensive connector solutions

Titus will showcase its full range of cabinet connector systems, demonstrating the depth of engineering expertise that supports furniture manufacturers across various market segments. The System 6.2 square shaped connectors offer next-generation connection technology with enhanced stability and contemporary aesthetics. The modern appearance aligns with current design trends while delivering robust performance for modular closet systems, wardrobes, and shelving units.

The comprehensive System 5 range includes cam and dowel connecting fittings with Klix and Quickfit technologies for all cabinet applications. The Quickfit TL5 “Full Metal Jacket” dowel remains a standout solution – the only highperformance dowel engineered to reliably engage in 5 mm holes, forming strong joints in MDF, chipboard, and solid wood without requiring additional wooden dowels. This versatility simplifies inventory management and ensures consistent performance across different material types.

Advanced drawer systems

The enhanced Tekform Slimline+ drawer system is the latest development in effortless drawer installation and adjustment. Featuring a three-dimensional front adjustment mechanism with colour-coded adjustment panels, the system ensures precise alignment and enhanced user convenience. The front accessible adjustment location eliminates the need to access the rear of cabinets during fine-tuning, significantly improving installation efficiency.

Equipped with Titus’ latest Adaptive Response Technology (ART) damper, the Slimline+ delivers smooth, controlled movement, effortless drawer opening, and consistent damping over the lifetime of the product. The system’s compatibility with Tacto 2.0 push-to-open technology gives manufacturers future-proof flexibility to accommodate handleless design trends.

New product launches

kbb Birmingham 2026 will see Titus introduce two new products that expand the capabilities of the drawer systems.

Vitek, an ultra-thin metal drawer system, targets design-forward applications across kitchens, living spaces, bedrooms, wardrobes, and vanities. This innovative system combines maximum usable space with minimalist design and consistent performance. The standout feature is a 3D locking device that enables precise front-panel alignment and offers the flexibility of both full and single-extension runners. The locking device’s design allows easy engagement and disengagement of drawers from the rails, facilitating installation and maintenance.

Trax-V is a new modular platform of undermount runners specifically tailored for wooden drawers in everyday furniture applications. Incorporating Titus’ ART damping technology, Trax-V delivers smooth, quiet, and controlled soft-closing performance, supporting drawer loads up to 40 kg in both single- and full-extension configurations. This flexible solution addresses the needs of manufacturers producing furniture for kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms, where reliability and consistent performance are paramount.

Slidix soft-closing solutions

Completing the showcase, Titus’ Slidix range demonstrates the company’s expertise in damping technology for sliding door applications. These comprehensive soft-close solutions for sliding doors demonstrate the versatility of Titus’ hydraulic damping technology across diverse applications, from wardrobe doors to interior sliding systems.

Demonstration and technical support

Throughout the show, live demonstrations will highlight the practical benefits of Titus products, with a particular emphasis on ease of installation and precision adjustment capabilities.

The technical team will be available to discuss how Consumer Assembly Friendliness (CAF) principles translate into measurable production efficiencies, reduced assembly times, and enhanced end-user satisfaction.

“kbb Birmingham provides an excellent platform to demonstrate how our engineering expertise addresses real-world manufacturing challenges,” says Phil Beddoe, UK Managing Director at Titus. “We’re excited to showcase both our enhanced existing ranges and new product launches that expand our capabilities in serving furniture manufacturers.”
