With the MitreX double mitre fence, MARTIN presents a practical solution for precise and efficient mitre cuts in everyday professional workshop use. Developed by practitioners for practitioners, the MitreX combines high adjustment accuracy, well thought-out details and a robust yet lightweight construction.
At the heart of the system is the precise angle adjustment via a large scale. The analogue fence enables exact mitre cuts from both sides, ensuring maximum flexibility in the work process. The MitreX can also be optionally equipped with digital angle adjustment to further increase ease of use.
For clean results even with demanding materials, an easily replaceable splitter block is integrated as standard, ensuring tear-free cuts. Cuts along a pencil line are also possible without any problems and, above all, with precision.
In practice, in addition to the exact angle, a precise cutting length is often crucial. For this reason, the MitreX has integrated length compensation for ten common preferred angles between 0° and 67.5°. The stops, which can be used on both sides, cover cutting lengths from 90 to 1,400 millimetres, enabling a wide range of applications in furniture and interior design.
The anodised aluminium construction ensures high stability and low weight. Thanks to the compact design, the workpiece and saw blade remain visible at all times. Installation is quick and easy using a one-hand clamp. The MitreX can be used on all MARTIN sliding table saws manufactured since 2001 or from the T73 series onwards and can be retrofitted without much effort.
With the MitreX, MARTIN once again underlines its claim to offer well-thought-out solutions for maximum precision and efficiency in the professional woodworking environment.
