TAKA’s fully integrated production spans four plants, including one dedicated to polyester synthesis and another housing one of Europe’s most advanced adhesive manufacturing lines. This vertical integration ensures consistent quality and enables tailor-made solutions beyond what off-the-shelf raw materials allow.

The advantages of HMPUR adhesives and TAKA’s core product families At the heart of TAKA’s innovation lies its mastery of HMPUR adhesives, the gold standard in modern furniture manufacturing.
Unlike traditional adhesives, HMPUR systems cure through a chemical reaction with ambient moisture, resulting in bonds that are strong, durable, and resistant to water, heat, and solvents.
TAKA’s HMPUR adhesives offer superior bond strength, a zero-joint finish, thermal stability, micro-emission formulations with monomeric isocyanate content below 0.1%, and bio-based options with up to 20% renewable raw materials.
The portfolio spans three specialised families. Edgebanding adhesives bond edges on wood-based panels, compatible with PVC, PP, ABS, melamine, veneers, and aluminium, delivering invisible glue lines. Profile wrapping adhesives suit complex geometries — skirting boards, frames, mouldings — with flawless adhesion on glossy or super-matte surfaces.
Panel lamination adhesives are optimised for flat lamination of panels, doors, and flooring, providing smooth, defect-free finishes on MDF, HDF, particle board, CPL, and HPL.
