One key option is the startech cn k – a three-axis machining centre ideal for all types of milling, decorations, engraving, signboard creation and 3D model prototyping.
Designed with operator safety in mind, the machine features an integral cabin with internal LED lighting, protecting the operator while keeping the surrounding work environment clean. Its ease of set-up and use makes it suitable not only for artisan carpentry, but also for training schools and industrial prototyping departments.
Powered by a 2.4 kW electrospindle with R25 tool-chuck, the routing unit enables powerful, high-precision machining. The three interpolating NC axes ensure optimal performance, while the optional fourth axis provides greater freedom when producing complex and unusual shapes.
Programming is also straightforward. Its “Open” virtual human-machine interface can import G-code from CAD/CAM software, subject to compatibility verification with the software supplier. Two-dimensional operations can also be programmed using SCM’s new Maestro Lab 2D software, available as an option.
Optional equipment includes a mobile push-button panel for controlling key machine functions, including spindle speed and axis movement. A higher-capacity vacuum pump increases flow from 2 m³/h to 8 m³/h, improving workpiece grip and machining precision.

The nova si 4 is the new circular saw designed by SCM that combines high performance and maximum versatility basing on the operator’s requirements.
The machine features a new, highly reliable sliding carriage, guaranteed for 10 years, with a locking system in any position, developed to enhance performance and customisation. Its closed reticular geometry provides top rigidity and minimal flexing.
The sliding system on hardened steel guides using an exclusive method of mechanical fixing, ensures a smooth operating movement. The saw blade unit, made of a solid and sturdy structure, enabling an accurate cut and the lifting mechanism is carried out by a strong cast-iron structure with sliding on ground round slideways.
The closed loop structure allows the total absence of vibration and guarantees the perfect alignment of the blades, even in case of tilted and difficult cuts. The hand-wheels on the machine front, for the saw blade unit moving, are easy to use; every minimum hand-wheel movement corresponds to an exact blade adjustment: the dedicated gear box (SCM solution), fully protected from the dust, ensures a smooth and direct transmission, making the everyday work more comfortable.
On request, for the best ergonomic and efficiency, the movement system can be electric or electronically programmed by the “Ready” control system, with 4” LCD display, which enables the automatic management of the main settings, for a simple and effective programming.
The squaring frame facilitates panel loading, while mobile cross beams provide support for smaller panels. Optional devices include the “CompeX” system and the new telescopic “Quick Lock” fence, which allows rapid set-up changes.
Lastly, the machine can be equipped, on request, with a wide range of options to further improve its performance and functionality.
