REHAU Interior Solutions showcased its innovative edgeband and surface products at the Materials & Finishes Show 2024 in Birmingham, including new ranges that coordinate with market-leading surface providers. The edgeband specialist would like to thank all its visitors, taking inspiration from the conversations held at the stand and interest in REHAU products received. The presence and opinions of its clients are invaluable in further improving REHAU’s products and services.
The display included the Egger Decorative 24+ collection, which addresses the current sector focus on natural materials and sustainability. Designed by Egger, this new edgeband range is an example of how REHAU coordinates with the major players in the surfaces market to enable exceptional design. As the edgeband specialist, Egger Decorative 24+ collection adds to REHAU’s comprehensive portfolio of edgebands developed over 50 years.
In addition, REHAU displayed its new 2024 FALCO surfaces collection, a highly appealing selection of design boards has been created, orientated towards current interior trends. This surfaces collection is produced by FALCO wood industry in alignment with their motto, “The modern way of living”.
REHAU’s new ranges were positively received, with great interest around the company’s innovative furniture surfaces, in particular the RAUVISIO noir and RAUVISIO crystal Deep collections. This enthusiastic response demonstrates the value of REHAU’s expertise in furniture design.

Further new ranges are designed to complement REHAU’s range of RAUKANTEX edgebands, which include everything one would need to create stunning furniture and interiors, from solid colours and decorative designs to glass effect, metal effect, translucent and 3D looks. The full range is available for use with traditional primer or as invisible-joint edgebands.
From this key range, RAUKANTEX eco and evo edgebands have recently been awarded the German Innovation Award 2024 Winner in the #W2 Excellence in Business to Business: Material & Surfaces category. REHAU was pleased to win this year at the German Innovation Awards – a platform for innovative solutions that sustainably improve quality of life. This achievement recognises REHAU’s holistic approach to sustainability in edgebands, with the edgeband specialist’s overarching goal to continuously increase the use of non-fossil-based recyclates and polymers and to save CO2 emissions.
Expanding its activities and horizons, REHAU is only becoming more confident in its ability to increase the immediate availability of its furniture edges in the UK.
