Interior solutions expert REHAU has updated its RAUVISIO crystal Strong Collection, reinterpreting polymer glass surfaces for today’s modern interiors. Expressive, nature-inspired décors combine with the benefits of smart polymer technology to create impressive depth effects, enabling exceptional design freedom across versatile applications. The new styles offer a contemporary appearance that is calmer, clearer, and easier to combine.
Inspired by the earth’s natural textures, the collection consists of six décors, each available in high-gloss and matt finishes. Vela, Torino, and Onice draw inspiration from stone, while Creta, Nube, and Cortena are influenced by other natural materials. All designs sit beneath RAUVISIO crystal’s smart polymer glass surface, creating a distinctive sense of spatial depth, subtle transitions, and an appealing three-dimensional effect. Light visibly penetrates the material, making structures appear embedded within the surface rather than merely applied to it.
Designed for a wide range of applications The refreshed collection is suitable for everything from private living spaces to retail environments, offices, and public buildings. The pressed large-format panel is available in 2,800 × 1,300 × 19 mm with an MDF core. For versatile installations, a slimline glass laminate variant is offered in a 3.7 mm thickness.
Ideal for kitchen furniture fronts, this thinner polymer panel can also be used as a wall cladding solution – applied directly over existing tiles – making it an efficient and stylish option for quick renovations.
A key benefit for manufacturers and designers, the RAUVISIO crystal Strong Collection offers significant functional advantages over traditional mineral glass.
It is considerably lighter, as well as more scratch and impact-resistant. Crucially for the workshop, it can be processed using standard woodworking tools, saving time and equipment wear. Additionally, the surface is easy to clean and features anti-fingerprint properties. The décors are deliberately understated, harmoniously integrating into any environment, whether as an accent or across large surfaces.
