Following its successful participation at Surface Design Show this year, with many high-quality visitors to the stand, REHAU is now set for another exciting year of growth in the UK market.
At SDS, the company presented visitors with a variety of new products and services for architects and designers. The RAUVISIO surface collection, including the noir, noble matt, crystal deep and mirror, were particularly well-received, as were the RAUVOLET tambour door systems and the Cut and Edge service which enables customers to buy a furniture surface, cut to the right size for their furniture project, supplied complete with edgeband.
Just before the show, REHAU also launched a new service called Surface Select. This enables customers to explore the company’s complete range of exquisitely crafted surfaces. Here, they can develop ways to create their own exceptional designs. With unique features like anti-fingerprint, soft-touch and scratch resistance, REHAU surfaces come in a range of finishes, from matte to glossy, suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications.
The Surface Select tool uses cleverly designed filters to enable visitors to the site to find the perfect decor for their project. Each decor tells a unique story on a dedicated page, allowing the customer to craft their own world with RAUVISIO surfaces and order free samples. As REHAU celebrates 75 years in business and 10 years in surfaces, it is certainly showing how it is ‘Enabling Exceptional Design’ for its customers. The company has launched a new website for REHAU Interior Solutions. This is packed full of inspirational photography and ideas for the furniture industry and its customers, while presenting a modern and clean feel, maximising the use of video and leading online technologies.
Meanwhile, the company has acquired the Manchester-based business DecorEdge, as part of its growth strategy for its interior solutions division. DecorEdge, a specialist distributor of edgeband based in Manchester, has been a loyal customer of REHAU’s for over 14 years and a key distributor of REHAU edgeband across the north of England and further afield.
Customers of DecorEdge will gain immediate access to REHAU’s extensive range of products, including its industry-leading edgebanding, surface and storage solutions. They will also be able to form a direct relationship with the experts who design and manufacture the original components.
Looking ahead, REHAU is poised to kick off its participation in both the REHAU London Hub and ‘The Material Source Studio’ in Manchester. It will be showing surfaces, roller shutters and edgebands in London, whilst ‘The Material Source Studio’ will mainly be showcasing surfaces.
REHAU will also be participating in the Materials & Finishes Show in May 2024, majoring on its expertise in edgebands and taking the opportunity to showcase new, exciting ranges.

As edgeband specialists, REHAU offers solutions for perfect coordination with all the market-leading surface providers.
