Edging specialist Ostermann extends its already-wide range almost daily – in the area of thin ABS alone, the company launched more than 50 new products last month.
The sampling of these numerous plain and decor edgings was focused on achieving a representative cross-section of Ostermann’s existing edging range as new thin edgings.
Besides numerous oak reproductions, there are cutting-edge plain and wood decors, as well as metallic and concrete versions.
The new edgings are available in the standard dimensions – 23, 33 and 43mm, in a thickness of 0.4mm and with a roll length of 150m. Ostermann will also cut a wide roll to individual lengths from 16mm on request.
High-quality alternative to melamine edgings
Thin ABS edgings offer the processor a high-quality alternative to classic melamine edgings. They are more resilient and less susceptible to impact, and their possible applications include covering the rear ends of tabletops, carcasses, shelf segments, studs and side sections.
Just like their design equivalents in 1 or 2mm thick ABS, these thin ABS edgings have a convincing, high-grade look.
Matching the decors of 1 and 2mm ABS edgings
For more exposed edgings on the same piece of furniture, all the new colours and decors are naturally available as 1 and 2mm-thick variants, too. This way, edgings can be applied with matching decors, but in different thicknesses on the front and the carcass.
