Ostermann is switched on

Lighting has become an indispensable part of modern furniture design. For an artful presentation of furniture and rooms, Ostermann provides an extensive programme of LED solutions with comfortable matching operating concepts.

The 10 different Sub Line aluminium lighting channels and six different Eco Line plastic lighting channels on offer are suitable for creating indirect lighting with LED strips.

Among these, the carpenter/cabinetmaker is sure to find the right profile for any light-based design idea, states Ostermann – from classic mounting profiles to corner or tower profiles and flexible profile solutions. Particularly noteworthy are the aluminium handleless systems LEDs, which can be used to indirectly illuminate even vertically opening cabinet doors.

Selected profiles now available in black

Combined with solid wood surfaces as well as white or dark furniture, black metal profiles are becoming increasingly popular in furniture design. Therefore, the models Sub Line 1, 3, 4 and 10, as well as selected LED aluminium handleless systems, are now available with the on-trend black anodised (matt) surface as well.

LED strips

Open or closed? Dimmable or non-dimmable? Thirty, 60 or 120 LEDs per metre? And which light colour?

Thanks to a wide assortment of LED strips, Ostermann’s customers are spoilt for choice. For open routing, closed strips are available. For mounting into the Sub Line and Eco Line LED profiles, there are open LED strips with 30, 60 or 120 LEDs per metre. Several variants are dimmable, and the buyer can also choose between a single-coloured version or one with incorporated colour change.

With Versa Super Plus, Ostermann provides the carpenter/cabinetmaker with a high-grade solution for application on bar counters and decorative surfaces, with visible curves that can be shortened to individual length, and pliable to both sides.

Accessories and switchgear for LED strips

Thanks to innovative switching technology, the carpenter/cabinetmaker can now easily install even complex lighting systems and build them into furniture or room elements.

For the installation of LED strips, only a converter is needed, says Ostermann – the choice of converter depends on the power capacity of the LED strips.
