New Year. New machinery line-up

For decades, Leicester-based woodworking machinery distributor, TM Machinery, has been the exclusive distributor of Striebig vertical panel saws and AL-KO dust extraction units. This year, however, the machinery specialist is expanding its portfolio to include two new machinery brands: Panhans and Casolin woodworking machinery.

Powerhouses in their own right, both machinery brands bring their own specialisms to the table. Over the last 100 years, Panhans has evolved to become a globally recognised manufacturer of traditional woodworking machinery. Focused on engineering innovation, each model in its range offers exceptional German build quality and long-lasting performance. Suitable for processing wood, composites and plastics, machines include traditional tilting spindle moulders with multiple modifications, surface planers, sliding table panel saws, bandsaws and drilling machines.

Similarly, Casolin’s 50-year history has made the Italian manufacturer synonymous with designing simple and dependable sliding table saws, thicknesses, spindle moulders and sanders. Built to last and competitively priced, Casolin has become a go-to brand for forward-thinking joinery workshops looking to grow their production capabilities.

“With the addition of Panhans and Casolin, we strongly believe our portfolio will continue to offer high-quality machinery at the right price point and will allow us to maintain the high standards we’ve worked hard to achieve over the last four decades”

“Our goal has never been to be all things to all people,” says Matt Pearce, MD of TM Machinery. “We’ve spent the last 40 years creating a solid reputation in the industry that has been built on the success of two exceptionally strong brands – Striebig and AL-KO. Both fit perfectly into our business model and the UK manufacturing market.

“We see our portfolio as an extension of us,” he adds. “We are a close-knit team and, just like our machines, we want relationships with our suppliers and customers to stand the test of time. This means that if we don’t believe a machinery brand offers the build quality and performance our customers have come to expect from products sold by TM Machinery, we simply won’t sell them.

“With the addition of Panhans and Casolin, we strongly believe our portfolio will continue to offer high-quality machinery at the right price point and will allow us to maintain the high standards we’ve worked hard to achieve over the last four decades, whilst continuing to grow our product offering in the UK.”
