New Touch system creates ideal form and function

The Touch system from Michael Barnes Systems is a new and innovative opening mechanism that preserves the architectural simplicity of your doors, drawers and cabinets. Set on the back of the door, and completely hidden within the door panel, the system provides an ideal combination of easy functionality and sleek aesthetics.

Acting as an invisible handle, the pressure of a simple tap reveals a hidden flap on which to grasp, opening the door with a smooth, gliding action. Remove the hand and the flap gently eases back to its original resting position, courtesy of the new soft-closing hinge. Once pushed closed, the door becomes flush with the panel once more.

The Touch opening system is set on the back of the door and is completely hidden within the wood thickness – minimum thickness 22mm – allowing accurate alignment between the handle front surface and the door. The mechanism is also versatile enough to blend in with the same material as the door finish, offering a more uncluttered look to any interior.

Easily to install, the Touch system can be applied to both horizontal and vertical openings and the mechanism can be adjusted to fit the length of the door.
