Stenner resaw ST Range distributor for UK and Ireland, DaltonsWadkin, is now able to offer the popular pitless ST100R model in three distinct versions, the ST100RB, 100R and 100RS.
UK-based and world-renowned manufacturer Stenner has designed new versions of its popular resaw in order to increase the scope provided by the already-established ST100R.
The 100R machine is widely installed and has become very much the resaw of choice for scores of timber suppliers, fencing and garden furniture manufacturers and joinery producers in all parts of the country. The resaw incorporates a cast iron table, pneumatic saw tensioning, a 15kW motor drive, HMI control system and photocell-activated feed with foot pedal override.
The new kids on the block are the RB and RS models introduced for 2018. The ST100RB maintains many of the features of the 100R whilst being priced at a level which should have appeal across a wide spectrum of timber users. The machine shares the same capacity and build quality as the 100R but has manual controls to the feed roller and fence movements, thereby representing more traditional operating methods.
The ST100RS in contrast builds on the features of the 1OOR by adding variable saw pulley speed as standard, increased motor power to 18kW, auto programmable fence settings and remote control pedestal incorporating full colour touch screen. This version has been designed to meet and in many ways exceed the performance levels formerly only associated with larger capacity machines.
DaltonsWadkin director, Francis Dalton, is delighted with the new range enthusing: “The versatility provided by the new range gives us the opportunity to reach a wider cross section of the timber, using trades by meeting individual production needs and ways of working. We can now offer a resaw to suit most applications, and each importantly designed and built around the already-well proven ST100R.”
DaltonWadkin, with over 117 years of history and experience in the supply of machinery and services to the timber industry, is ideally placed to promote and support these innovations from Tiverton-based Stenner, and is happy to arrange viewing and working demonstrations by appointment.
