Mirka is introducing Ultimax® Black, a new abrasive for belt sanding with long-life and antistatic properties, suitable for sanding hard materials and hardwood surfaces, reducing material waste.
Combining a thick, high-quality backing paper with a new silicon carbide grain and patented selective coating material, Ultimax Black delivers a strong, stable performance without breaking, folding or twisting, even in the coarser grits.
The high-technology sanding belt’s surface cavities prevent clogging and reduce the temperature of the sanding process while increasing the surface pressure on each single sanding grain. This helps the abrasive stay sharp for longer, contributing to a higher removal rate and a lower scratch pattern.
