The MARTIN T54 is a jointer that easily performs two basic tasks. Firstly, it perfectly joints workpieces and, secondly, it quickly, safely and precisely provides them with angled edges.
The smoothly running planer fence with integrated auxiliary fence enables fast and precise work. The planer fence, which runs on ball bearings, glides smoothly and without jamming on hardened tracks – for years to come, it will be just as precise as on the first day.
Chamfers can also be planed effortlessly thanks to the user-friendly one-handed adjustment between 90° and 45°.
The machine is equipped with a TERSA solid steel cutterhead as standard. The Xplane cutterhead, which works with a pulling cut, is available as an optional extra.
The solid cast-iron tables of the T54 provide a secure surface for even large, heavy workpieces. If you need more surface area, you can extend both the in- and outfeed tables by 380 mm each – which are, of course, also made of cast iron.
