A Lamello exhibition stand is always a hive of activity. From the demonstrators presenting the company’s full range of hand-held machines and fixings, to product talks and interactive screens, visitors can expect to be taken on a whistle-stop tour of Lamello’s 60-year history and the product innovations that have led to more than 300 patents being issued.
At this year’s Interzum and LIGNA, Lamello’s new LC P-16 fixing took centre stage. Designed to connect lightweight construction materials like cardboard or plastic honeycomb, wood fiber and hard foam like XPS with surface layers made of wood composite, it combines the advantages of lightweight construction with efficient Clamex technology – enabling strong, detachable connections without concealed timber edges.
The stand also focused on Lamello’s CNC fixings, with a new, dedicated tooling area on display. This addition coincided with Lamello’s CNC partners presenting a range of applications for small, independent craftsman, through to volume flat-pack producers on their stands.
Leading names like HOMAG, Biesse and SCM presented new solutions to completely digitalise production cycles when using the Clamex and Cabineo. From the automatic insertion of Lamello’s Cabineo fixings to new software solutions and fully intuitive macros specially designed to work with Lamello’s CNC connector range on three, four and five-axis CNC machines, the offering was vast.
