Kronospan’s innovation is more than just the boards it makes, it’s also the decors and designs of the melamine-faced boards under the Kronodesign brand. The latest and emerging trends inspire the company’s design teams to ensure that every customer is catered for, from the classical elegance of woodgrains through to contemporary bold colours and metallics.
In the UK, Kronospan has been manufacturing in Chirk, North Wales for over 50 years. Its Chirk site manufactures particle board, medium density fibreboard (MDF), melamine-faced boards and laminate flooring. Kronospan is also proud to claim that it is the UK’s only domestic manufacturer of laminate flooring.
Kronospan’s products manufactured in the UK are made using timber sourced in the UK, keeping its carbon footprint as low as possible. The company has also pioneered the use of recycled timber in its particleboard, achieving industry-leading levels of recycled content, and putting itself forward as the sustainable choice for environmentally conscious consumers.
