Häfele UK has expanded its Metalla collection of hinges with a new black nickel finish. Following the launch of Metalla 310 and its rising popularity, Häfele UK has widened its colour options, giving more choice to furniture makers, joiners and tradespeople – and their customers.
Hafele’s Metalla 310 hinge is the result of three years of global research and development. It has been created with quality and long-term performance firmly in mind, with a lower price point than most other hinges with a similar specification. Initially launched in a nickel finish, Häfele has introduced an on-trend dark option that is available across the entire range, including the most popular 110° and 155° product lines.
“Metalla 310 is quickly proving to be one of our most popular hinges,” says Justin Crofts, Category Manager – Furniture Construction at Häfele UK. “And with dark hardware cementing itself as a mainstay of furniture and interior design, it’s a natural evolution to build on the collection with a sleek, subtle black nickel option.”
Specially designed to give kitchen manufacturers and installers a high-quality choice, whatever the application, the Metalla 310 is suitable for standard 110° opening, wide-angle openings, post hinge, and 30 or 45-degree openings. It is also available in a soft-close or a non-soft-close variant.
Despite its lower price point, Metalla 310 has been tested to at least 40,000 cycles and 48 hours against corrosion resistance in accordance with FIRA Level H, EN 15570 level 2 / LGA quality certification. It also comes with a 25-year guarantee, meaning manufacturers, joiners and installers can be confident they’re providing customers with complete reliability, ease of use and enduring quality.
“Customers who’ve swapped their usual hinge for the Metalla 310 have reported saving up to half of their usual spend, making it one of the most valuable fittings in the toolbox,” Justin continues. “With the addition of Metalla Black Nickel, we’re building on that by combining value and quality with a new dramatic aesthetic.”
Metalla Black Nickel is the latest addition to Hafele’s range of dark ironmongery, hardware and fittings.
