Kleiberit invests in tube bag filling and thus offers additional economic and ecological benefits of its top products to the international market.
To meet the demands and preferences of customers, Kleiberit will increasingly offer, for example, its paste-like STP adhesives (silane-terminated polymers) in convenient tube bag packaging. This provides users with additional benefits for a wide range of applications in assembly bonding.
Lower material use (Resource Efficiency):
Tube bags (film packaging) require only a fraction of the material (plastic composites) needed for rigid plastic or metal cartridges. This significantly saves fossil raw materials and energy during production, reduces transportation weight and costs, and offers comfortable handling on construction sites or in manufacturing.
Excellent residue emptying (Waste Prevention):
By squeezing the tube with a suitable applicator, it can be emptied almost completely.
As a rule, less product residue remains in the container than with rigid cartridges, which significantly minimises the waste of valuable resources, such as adhesives.
Minimal waste volume (Logistics & Disposal):
An empty tube bag is extremely thin and occupies almost no space in waste. The amount of waste (and thus disposal costs and emissions from waste incineration) is reduced by a multiple compared to plastic or metal cartridges.
In combination with the innovative formulations of Kleiberit STP adhesives, which are free from solvents, isocyanates, and water, this packaging solution provides additional synergies for improving the CO2 footprint.
