With the REDOCOL Kantomelt PUR 135.60/61 LM hotmelt adhesive, Ostermann has added a new PUR hotmelt adhesive to its range that does not require special training or labelling.
The additional descriptor, LM, is an abbreviation for “low monomer”, so the content of isocyanates is significantly reduced.
The new hotmelt adhesive can easily compete with the classic PUR products in terms of processing, as it melts down very well and flows without any problems. Post processing, it is characterised by a high initial strength and a tight bondline. The hotmelt adhesive is available as a 2 kg block in the colours natural and white.
Isocyanate content below 0.1 %
With an isocyanate content below 0.1 %, Ostermann’s new hotmelt adhesive contributes to greater safety in the workplace and towards the protection of the environment. It helps to reduce unhealthy glue vapours in the workshop.
Another benefit is that the adhesive does not require labelling as a hazardous substance and can thus be used by all employees without any additional compulsory training.

The glue joint between the furniture board and the edging demonstrates the same excellent water- and heat-resistant properties typical of all PUR products.
