Festool, a global leader in premium power tool solutions, featured the latest innovations tailored for professional craftspeople and installers on its stand at kbb Birmingham. These included its brand-new cordless power tools, high precision accessories, and dust extraction systems designed to elevate efficiency, work quality and protect health.
Show highlights for Festool included live demonstrations of some of its latest products, as well as first-hand presentations of its latest sanding and edging solutions. New products on show included the TSC 55 KS cordless plunge-cut saw, cordless jigsaw PSC-E 18, and TBX4 tabless battteries.
Visitors were also able to take part in face-to-face Q&A sessions with Festool experts to discuss workflow improvements, product integration, and technical support.

TSC 55 KS cordless plunge-cut saw
The TSC 55 KS is designed for maximum mobility. Thanks to its compact design and low weight, it fits perfectly in the hand and is immediately ready for use with just one battery pack. The slim design enables precise cuts directly on the wall and without overhang on the guide rail. There’s one battery pack on the saw, the second on the charger, to ensure uninterrupted work.
“The TSC 55 KS is our answer to the increasing demands in the trade,” says Boris Seyfried, Product Manager at Festool. “It combines mobility, performance and safety in a compact system – making it the perfect tool for carpenters and joiners who deliver top performance every day.”
A special highlight is the new sensor-based KickbackStop, which stops the saw blade at lightning speed in the event of kickback, for greater safety and protection.
DTSC 200 cordless delta sander
The new DTSC 200 cordless delta sander features an integrated LED light ring to ensure optimum visibility and makes unevenness visible at an early stage. Two light modes can be selected directly on the machine, and the light intensity and afterglow duration can be customised via the Festool app.
Thanks to its large sanding surface, eccentric sanding movement and EC 2.0 motor, the DTSC 200 is extremely versatile. The disc brake protects the workpiece, and the vibration protection ensures comfortable working. The new Granat Delta 200 abrasive can be used in three ways – tear off the tip, turn, continue working. The dust collection bag enables low-dust sanding without a dust extractor.
