David Clouting dares to be different

High gloss was ignored by many when it first emerged over 10 years ago, while others claimed it was a passing fad that would not last. David Clouting, however, has continued to develop its selection of high gloss designs, allowing customers to remain at the forefront of KBB furniture design.

Its latest introductions are Light Grey Gloss KADR4-PG, Cashmere YEM18-PG, Stone Grey NCAB5-PG  and Dakar NCAB3-PG. These will provide designers with further essential options to match consumer demand for high gloss finishes.

All four designs have proven their popularity in the market in matt PVC and MFC finishes, so their transition to high gloss will further extend their appeal. Their introduction is further proof that high gloss has considerable potential to serve the market for many years to come.

Light Grey Gloss works well with Pfleiderer U1188 HG and Egger U708 St 15, providing a lightness of tone to suit commercial furniture design and reflect the optimism and confidence of the more positive economic times predicted for the years ahead.

The remaining three choices of Cashmere, Stone Grey and Dakar have all proven popular as solid colours, initially originated by Egger. These high gloss versions are an attractive but logical extension of the Decofoil Innoface matt versions.

The most recent of these is Cashmere, which has quickly been adopted by leading furniture manufacturers. The gloss effect further enhances its subtle, soft warm tone and emphasises its joyful effect.

David Clouting has established itself as a leading provider of stocked gloss foil finishes, and the latest additions to its Decofoil High Gloss range provide yet more confirmation of its status.
