Swiss furniture fixings specialist, Lamello, will return to kbb Birmingham this March, showcasing its latest innovations in furniture connectors and hand tools – including the UK debut of its LC P-16 fixing.
Visitors to Lamello’s stand will be among the first in the country to see the LC P-16 up close. Developed specifically for modern lightweight construction, the new connector is designed to join materials such as cardboard and plastic honeycomb cores, wood fibre boards and hard foams like XPS with composite surface layers.
By combining the principles of lightweight construction with Lamello’s proven Clamex technology, the LC P-16 enables strong, precise and fully detachable connections without the need for concealed timber edges. The result is a new level of design freedom for furniture makers working with advanced panel materials.
Alongside the UK launch, Lamello will be running a full programme of live demonstrations throughout the show. These will feature its flagship Zeta P2 and Classic X biscuit joiners, together with a wide range of connectors, including Cabineo one-piece cabinet fittings, Tenso P self-clamping fixings, Clamex P detachable connectors and the invisible magnetic joining system, Invis.
From small, independent workshops to high-volume flat-pack manufacturers, the demonstrations will showcase how Lamello’s systems support faster assembly, cleaner design and more efficient production across a wide range of applications.
