The new universal Titus Cam5000 features an optimised shape for greater confidence in use providing a smooth and reliable locking action for a highly resistant joint with a wide variety of dowels.
A wealth of experience and findings from four decades of designing and providing cam&dowel solutions to key producers of RTA furniture have been merged into a new Cam5000 profile design with optimised torque.
It ensures a smooth and confident tightening action and always-right reliable locking into final two o’clock position regardless of what dowel from Titus range of screw-in and Quickfit hand insertion dowels is used. An improved and tolerant profile securely engages the dowel resulting in strong, highly resistant joint with no gaps between panels also in marginal tolerances.
Reinforcements of central cam body prevent cam toroidal deformation and bursting.
The new Cam5000 retains all the standard features of Titus cams, proven to facilitate end user experience: cam retaining pips, holding the cam in panel position prior to assembly; two o’clock lock and ‘Klix’ that assures a strong, vibration-proof joint.
Used in combination with Titus Quickfit TL5 Full Metal Jacket it assures a strong and reliable joint with multiple wooden materials, like chipboard, MDF and solid wood, and assures joint stability even in demanding applications.
