We have developed an innovative Podz™ Pocket which complements our Podz™ Foam Spring range established as a market leader since launching last year. These innovations can be sold across a range of markets, including furniture, bedding and leisure industries.
Serene® Foam has been created to offer the optimum in comfort and support. It is enhanced with billions of microscopic air capsules to cradle the body, increase the level of support and aid in reducing pressure on sensitive areas. It gives an immediate comfort response at virtually any temperature making Serene® Foam the perfect comfort layer for cushions, mattresses, toppers and pillows.
The new Podz™ Pocket design and the Podz™ Mini are available in Carpenter's full range of foam grades offering enhanced support and spring-like performance when used as a base or comfort layer in a mattress, as a unique layer in a topper, in a pillow core or as part of our comfort cushioning range. The Podz™ Pocket and Podz™ Mini are ergonomically designed delivering, excellent durability, respond to body movement and minimise motion transfer. They offer the benefits of spring-like support, but without the need to segregate multiple component materials and easily recyclable at the end of product life.
Carpenter's graphite-infused foams have been developed to help control the cushioning environment. Both Aurora+™ Foam and Celsius+™ graphite foams offer an improved transfer of heat in thermal conductivity testing when compared against a standard polyether or memory foam which can lead to a cooler environment. Aurora+™ Foam is a high resilience foam which gives superior support and durability and has open cell technology for increased airflow. Celsius+™ memory foam, contours to the body for personalised comfort and helps ease pressure on sensitive areas. Both foams utilise melamine-free technology, making them ideal for bedding and cushioning applications.
Carpenter Limited has developed a range of foam cushions using the Podz™ Pocket and Podz™ Mini foam springs as a core, an insert or an innovative top layer. These have been constructed using different grades of foam – the options are countless and are suitable for use in upholstery and the leisure markets. Working with its customers’ R & D teams, Carpenter Limited can deliver the feel and comfort level to suit all designs. Its bedding range includes a topper with Podz™ Mini in either Celsius® memory foam or Aurora® Foam, and a pillow which offers a unique, yet comfortable feel.
