Machinery Services UK is an engineering and machinery sales company based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. The company has over 40 years’ experience in the wood working and High Pressure Laminate industries and specialise in postforming, thermoforming and waste wood management systems.
“Over four decades of family service and hard work with a wide variety of machinery and various companies in the UK and abroad, we are well suited to solve all your wood working machinery needs,” explained sales director, Adam Hinchliffe. “Our services include maintenance, repair work, sales and installation of various types of machinery.
“We are the sole UK distributors for Turanlar, a Turkish based manufactures of panel processing machinery including edgebanders, throughfeed postformers, milling machines and beam saws.
“We also represent Global Vacuum Presses, a respected company based in Spain which manufactures vacuum press machinery for many different industries, including the solid surfacefabrication, woodworking, thermofoiling and automotive industries.
“Our customer base includes some of the UK’s main manufacturers of laminated panels, washrooms and cubicles, as well as fire door manufacturers,” said Adam.
We specialise in most types of forming machinery but in particular the postforming industry. We recognised this was only a small part of the laminating market hence why we have broadened our machine range to include some quality beam saws and edgebanders for more common panel production for kitchen and bedroom furniture manufacturers which has broadened our customer base.
“Another niche area of our business is our servicing and maintenance work, in particular on wood waste systems. We recently worked in partnership with Vecoplan UK to put together a system including a wood shredder, conveyors and magnets for waste pallets for one of the largest pallet manufactures in the UK. This installation and project has just been completed and is now in full production.
