Floor-to-ceiling storage ideas don’t come more practical than Blum’s Space Step, which makes it the ideal product to round off the ‘all you need is space’ campaign from Hill’s Panel Products (HPP) and its long-time trading partner, Blum.
Each month for the past five months, the two renowned companies have been highlighting products that improve workspace and workflow, space and storage, and convenience – such as Blum’s Pull Out Shelf Lock, Space Tower, Sink Cabinet and Space Twin.
Space Step not only allows you to install higher cabinets, but also creates extra storage space in the toe kick of base units. Two solutions rolled into one that can be applied up to 1200mm wide – perfect for customers who want to store lots of things.
Versatile applications
Space Step provides a step platform and pull-out under the step (provided the plinth is at least 150mm high). Of course, the higher the plinth (the maximum is 250mm), the bigger the storage space. Ideal for seldom-used items.
There are three different plinth options – recessed plinth, recessed low plinth and flush plinth – to choose from, making the Space Step suitable for applications throughout the home.
The Servo-Drive electrical motion support system delivers supreme ease of use. Space Step opens at a single touch anywhere on the front and closes again softly and effortlessly with Blumotion.
Activated by a weight of just 8kg and supporting up to 150kg, an anti-slip system securely locks the Space Step in position, ensuring safety and stability.
Step into innovation
Space Step can be used with all Blum’s box and runner systems anywhere in the home, particularly in bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens.
For example, you could upgrade the Space Tower larder unit with the two-fold benefits of Space Step.
Firstly, it creates extra storage under the step, and secondly, it gives easy access to storage items on the top shelf – access to which could be made easier thanks to Aventos, Blum’s inspiring range of lift systems that provide easy access to wall cabinets.
With Aventos, users still have full freedom of movement even when cabinet fronts are open.
