Blum has completed its dark range of furnishing solutions with the introduction of an eclipse black finish across its AVENTOS top lift systems.
Now available for AVENTOS HF top, HS top, HL top and HK top, the new eclipse black style joins Blum’s onyx black hinges and carbon black LEGRABOX drawer system to create one complete dark collection.
Whether used to create a fully dark interior or as a considered accent against lighter furniture, the expanded range gives designers greater freedom to carry a consistent aesthetic through an entire scheme, coordinating lift systems, hinges and drawers in one cohesive specification.
Three solutions – one complete dark range
Consistency is often what makes a design feel complete. By bringing hinges, drawers and lift systems together in complementary dark finishes, Blum makes it easier to create harmony between the way furniture looks and the way it functions.
The latest addition brings that approach to wall cabinets, often where kitchen ergonomics are compromised. Traditional doors can swing out into the room and interrupt access, however, AVENTOS lift systems move fronts upwards and out of the way to create open, accessible storage.
Four distinct applications: bi-fold fronts, up and over systems, lift ups and stay lifts combine to offer a solution for each and every design. Each combines ergonomic access with smooth movement and integrated soft-close BLUMOTION technology, while the variable stop allows the front to remain open in a chosen position.
“Now, with the addition of eclipse black for AVENTOS, we have a complete dark offering for designers," says Krystyna Threlfall, Marketing Manager for Blum UK. "Harmony in movement can be matched by a consistent aesthetic, enabling professionals to plan spaces without limitation.
“From unusual door applications and deep pan drawers to lift systems above the sink, designers can now carry dark detailing throughout a scheme without compromising on the functionality required for each application.”
Design expression meets practical performance
With the addition of a new aesthetic, Blum’s focus on performance remains the same. Its components are engineered and tested for long-lasting everyday use, helping ensure the experience of the furniture continues long after installation.
Blum’s dark finishes are also designed to resist surface damage, helping maintain their appearance over time. Components are tested for 25 years of daily use and are backed by Blum’s lifetime guarantee.
Additionally, Blum’s E-SERVICES assist the specification process from the outset, with digital tools that make it easier to configure, calculate and plan the right solution. This is supported by a dedicated UK Technical Team, providing expert advice and practical support whenever it’s needed.
