From Hesse Lignal's state-of-the-art laboratories in Germany, Hesse developed a product that in just one single step uses up to 60% more material applied to vertical surfaces in comparison to other similar coloured lacquer systems.
Hesse Fanastic-Color is a pigmented, light-fast and very well balanced two-component PU acrylic resin lacquer with impressive opacity and a fast drying time. Its increased opacity achieves greater coverage than competitors and a rapid intermediate drying time of two hours is a big step forward in the market place.
The product’s particular distinguishing features are its outstanding ability to stay on vertical surfaces together with excellent levelling on horizontal surfaces. The lacquer can be applied directly to MDF edges without using special primers and fillers.
The desired result is therefore achieved much faster, saving both time and effort. What this means for finishing is significantly reduced processing times allowing for greater production but without compromising on quality.
Hesse strives to be at the forefront of wood coatings and once more it has surpassed standards for heat, chemical and scratch resistance with the Fanastic-Color. The company’s lacquers are independently tested and certified, resulting in a system which meets the IMO standard for coatings applicable to sea going vessels as well as Class B1 fire certification.
In respect of the wellbeing of the sprayers as well as the end users, Hesse’s Fanastic-Color formulation is free of wood preservatives, toxic heavy metals, phthalate plasticizers, formaldehyde, CMRs category 1A + 1B and volatile aromatic and halogenated organic compounds.
The result is a first class coloured lacquer finish with an impressive feel. Its surface invites the touch and the senses are simultaneously stimulated with colour and smoothness.
