Ease of use is key for today’s busy lifestyles, Nottinghamshire-based firm Jet Press offers the universal fitting Camloc Cam-Stay.
Made from carbon steel, the stays feature a multiple position function for access hatches or panels, machine guards, desk lids, storage boxes, tool and site boxes, hospital and physio beds, display panels and signage and many more applications supporting weights up to 135kg.
With two models to choose from there is a Cam-Stay to suit all requirements. The Basic Cam-Stay arm extends from its closed position until it locates into the desired holding position via the tooth catch. To close the unit, simply fully extend the stay before returning it to the closed position. The Basic Cam-Stay is available with five or 10 holding positions to offer increased flexibility.
The Reversible Cam-Stay has the added benefit of being able to close the stay at a chosen point of opening, simply by lifting the stay out of the current holding position and closing without the need to fully extend. Six holding positions are available on this model.
