This year sees the launch of 20 new decors with seven unique structures into Egger’s Zoom collection. Customers need look no further – Hranipex says it has the answer. Seven structures bring their own challenges for ABS edgebanding producers, but Hranipex says this is not a problem as the structure has been perfectly mimicked from the original MFC. ST27 for instance has a perfect line structure and it has developed new cylinder heads to cater for these new and complex surfaces.
Another illustration is the complexity of ST28 which provides knots that perfectly mimic the characteristics of natural wood, giving it a more natural feel than the traditional pore woodgrain finishes currently available on the market. ST36, meanwhile, contains a uniquely irregular pattern coupled with a finish that is very similar to a brush effect commonly associated with solid wood furniture.
As an example of the diverse options available, Hranipex can offer standard dimensions of 22 x 0.45mm, 22 x 1mm, 22 x 2mm, 42 x 2mm and Jumbos in each thickness (0.45 – 2mm).
The jumbo rolls allow maximum flexibility for the customer meaning the only limitation is the imagination of the furniture designer or producer. Couple this with slitting from a jumbo roll in quantities as small as 100m with a short turnaround of one week, the furniture producer can react quickly to its customers’ requirements, with minimal disruption to production.
Its generally the norm with new innovations that manufacturers often like to produce sample pieces to exhibit in a showroom or distribute among clients, so its also worth remembering that Hranipex offers a rewinding service which allows a producer to take very small quantities of a product without the need to purchase the entire roll.
The rewinding service is available throughout the Hranipex Express collection in quantities from just 1m and starts with a standard 24 hour delivery time frame.
