Weinig Powermat 1200 moulder
Weinig processing technology can achieve significant savings, increase timber yield and open up new markets – the Powermat series offers an ideal platform in this area. The entire range is equipped with the PowerLock tool system that minimises set-up times while ensuring excellent surface quality at a wide variety of feed speeds.
Especially the Powermat 1200 shows a range of options and is therefore suited to a wide variety of profiles. It is the right solution for moulding manufacturers, but also for producers of construction timber with cross sections up to 300 x 200 mm.
With the Powermat 1200, the customer can use the full capability of a Weinig moulder for window production as well. Whether four sided planing, removal of glazing beads or profiling with an excellent surface quality – the Powermat is ideally suited for every task. The whole processing sequence is performed without any manual intervention – without set-up time.
The outstanding feature is the new PowerCom PLUS controls which, together with Power Set, ensures quick and precise set-up of even complex profiles via six CNC-controlled axes. The new Moulder Master combines all processes upstream of production. The software enables profile and tool drawings to be created in a CAD interface and efficient management of data records. The paperless throughfeed also offers complete process reliability.
Among the options the universal spindle plays an outstanding role. The universal spindle can be positioned over a range of 360° and can be used as an additional spindle on each side. It is excellently suited for grooves, kerfs and separating workpieces.
When processing random width material for panels, stair treads or cabinet doors, the Weinig mobile spindle is an excellent choice. This multi-tasking unit automatically measures the width, moves the left spindle into position and processes the work piece to the maximum possible width. All in one cycle. It is operated via the control system of the Powermat 1200.
Weinig stands for solid wood expertise. But the modern moulders can do much more. Other materials can also be processed on the Powermat 1200 with the same high quality. For example, composites such as wood, plastic and composite. Even plastic, aluminum, MDF or electrical hardboard are no problem for the machine. With its high performance, precision and repeat accuracy it covers an extremely wide range of applications.
