All you need is space. Together, HPP and Blum can provide it!

Space is a valuable commodity for consumers, and together Hill’s Panel Products (HPP) and its trading partner Blum can satisfy that demand with a range of innovative solutions.

Over the coming weeks and months, the two renowned companies will be highlighting products that prove ‘all you need is space’ – especially to improve quality of living and/or if space is precious.

The campaign is being launched with Blum’s pull-out shelf lock, which provides a secure hold for fully extending pull-out shelves, thus creating an extra work surface and the many benefits that can provide.

This discreet, space-saving mechanism is perfect for use in kitchens, bathrooms, living and utility rooms where pull-out shelves are particularly handy. For example, creating a sturdy, additional worktop for things such as kitchen gadgets and appliances, or for placing files on in a home office, which can then quickly disappear into the cabinet when no longer needed.

In a utility room, a pull-out shelf means your customer could quickly and conveniently load and unload the washing by enabling a laundry basket to be placed directly in front of the washing machine with the open shelf held securely in place for as long as it’s needed.

All Blum pull-out shelves open with a gentle push. The lock engages securely on both sides when the pull-out shelf is fully extended and holds it firmly in place. It can easily be released with one hand thanks to a synchronisation shaft. It unlocks by simply lifting the lever.

And Blum’s BLUMOTION soft close mechanism means every shelf closes softly and effortlessly no matter how hard it’s slammed shut.

Easy to install

You can upgrade a pull-out shelf with a pull-out shelf lock in just a few steps:

Locking unit and synchronisation shaft – attach the locking unit to the synchronisation shaft. It has to be flush with the pull-out shelf.

Fitting and template rolled into one – the locking unit and latching element also serve as a template. Place the screws in the predefined fixing positions. You can use either chipboard or system screws for fixing the latching element.
