Hot melt adhesive solutions for edgebanding and lipping

Polyolefin hot melts for edgebanding – the export-ready edge
Technomelt KS 300 is based on Polyolefin technology, which means that it has far greater heat resistance than EVA-based hot melts. This is critically important if you are exporting your products. Technomelt KS 300 will bond all your chosen materials beautifully and give that invisible bond line that will set your work apart.
PUR for edgebanding – the ultimate performer
For ultimate adhesive performance on the most demanding jobs, Technomelt PUR 270/7 ticks all the boxes and is available in a variety of forms: including granules. This means that it can be used in all kinds of edgebanding machines. PUR-based adhesives have amazing bond strength and incredible temperature resistance: from -40°C to well above 150°C.
There is also a Micro-Emission (ME) product available, Technomelt PUR 270/9 ME, which has ultra-low isocyanate levels for safe use.
As well as these high-performance adhesive options, there is a full range of cleaners to complement these products, enabling you to keep your equipment in optimal condition. For surface cleaning and degreasing, Technomelt Melt-O-Clean has been proven over many years. Knottec – the innovative wood repair system
Knottec is a unique method for repairing deep wood defects and knots, allowing timber that would otherwise be scrapped to be used. Knottec employs a specially formulated hot melt adhesive, which has high resistance to chemicals and heat and is available is sixteen colours, so it can be easily matched to the intended job.
It is particularly useful for repairs to flooring and doors, resulting is a tough durable repair. It can be sanded and overpainted if required. Ultra-convenient kits are available, with an applicator gun, a range of coloured sticks and specialist tools, such as the Mouseplane®, giving you the perfect finish to your repair.
