Wren Kitchens invests over £3m in IT facilities as it ramps up recruitment

Wren Kitchens’ tech team develops industry-leading virtual reality software which features in Wren’s 100+ showrooms across the UK and USA.

Wren Kitchens invests over £3 million in its state-of-the-art IT facility at its headquarters in Barton-upon-Humber, as it continues to innovate and prototype new ideas to enhance world-leading technology for its customers.

Wren is continuing to expand its 28,000 sq ft tech hub which includes nine video conferencing suites, a cutting-edge IT monitoring centre, a lecture theatre and two dedicated VR studios, by further investing £100,000 this year in a new hands-on prototype technology area.

To complement this, it’s seeking to recruit over 60 new tech/IT positions to play a major part in the future of this rapidly expanding retailer. Wren provides remote working for developers and is welcoming people from across the UK.

A Tech Recruitment Event will take place on Saturday, 2nd October at The Nest in Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire, where technologies will be showcased. In addition to speakers from Wren, there will also be talks from tech industry professionals such as Senior Technical specialist at Unity, Wren’s leading 3D technology partner.
