WoodTech, the largest specialised fair of the wood processing machinery industry in Eurasia, is preparing to open its doors for the 36th time at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre in Istanbul on October 19th-23rd, 2023. Turkish and international leading companies of the woodworking industry have taken their places at the fair.
WoodTech was previously held in tandem with furniture supplier industry fair, Intermob, but will be held on its own dates starting from this year. The fair, which has grown 35% compared to 2022, will open its doors to its visitors in 10 halls.
Organised by RX Tüyap in co-operation with Turkish Woodworking Machinery Industrialists Association (AIMSAD) and European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS), WoodTech Fair has been serving the woodworking sector for 36 years.
The fair will showcase wood cutting, wood processing and CNC machines, electrical and mechanical hand tools, cutting tools, basic services that increase wood technology experience, support systems and complementary products under the same roof. Hosting the leading companies of the sector from Türkiye and abroad, the fair will take place with the participation of more than 250 companies and company representatives.
In its 36th year, the fair aims to bring together the important components of the woodworking technologies sector. Visitors from over 70 countries, including the Balkans, North Africa, Russia, as well as UAE, USA, England, Poland, Italy, France, Spain, Israel, Serbia, Jordan, Lebanon, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco have already registered to visit the show.
Exporting $152 million worth of goods by the end of 2022, the Turkish wood processing machinery industry is drawing the attention of the entire globe with its repertoire of state-of-the-art machinery. Surpassing its previous record, the industry exported goods to 150 countries throughout the year with 45 of these buying goods/supplies worth $1 million or above.
