Woodland Heritage has launched a new initiative – Open Woods & Workshops.
This new project evolves the annual Field Weekend to bring "the many positive impacts of sustainable, productive woodlands and wonderful workshops to a bigger audience".
Open Woods & Workshops will launch a network of woodlands and workshops hosting open days across the UK. Forestry estates and smaller woodlands, nurseries and sawmills, artists and architect’s studios, furniture factories, makers and beyond.
Woodland Heritage is the hub, helping woodland and workshop owners to share their passion and expertise across the nation.
Booking for events will launch on 4th March.
