Following the latest announcement from the UK Government on COVID-19, Weinig UK will remain open during the national lockdown.
Continuing to adhere to its coherent in-house COVID-19 policy and the ongoing guidelines set out by the Government, Weinig UK’s sales, service and after-care teams will operate as normal. Engineers will also continue to install and maintain machinery, with site visits being assessed individually to ensure the ongoing health and safety of each party.
Remote support continues to be offered to customers, with a technical hotline open to those who require technical assistance. Spare parts can also be ordered via phone for same day dispatch.
Malcolm Cuthbertson, managing director of Michael Weinig (UK) Ltd says: “During the pandemic, we have worked hard to modify our business framework and adopted new working practises that ensure we operate in a COVID-secure way and put the health and wellbeing of our staff, customers and suppliers at the forefront of everything we do.
“As we enter the next phase of COVID-19 restrictions, we will continue to offer ongoing support and a much-needed service to our customers, whilst doing our part to stop the spread of the virus. We thank everyone for adhering to these measures and for demonstrating extra care and consideration at this time.”
