London-based trade paints supplier, Amicus UK, and Manchester-based Thornham Supplies (Vernites UK) recently exhibited at Materials & Finishes, the industry trade show held at the NEC, Birmingham in May.
On their colourful stand, the two distribution companies were promoting Vernites, a respected international wood finishes brand displaying high-quality, eco-friendly products.
The bright and busy stand had many examples of the Vernites wood finish product on a range of materials – all of which appeared beautifully laid down and rich in finish quality.
Established in 1965, Vernites has a culture of quality born of working with top international furniture manufacturers in its native Italy and around the world. Two of the Vernites star products at the show were Acquacoat, a water-based thixotropic finish certified for interior applications, and Aquapur Stone 2K, a water-based topcoat, similarly certified for interior applications.
This integrity is confirmed by its membership of CATAS, an international testing, certification and research organisation which has certified Vernites products to the UNI EN 71-3 certification for painting wooden toys, and also complying with the 2nd VOC emission class of UNI 11896:2023.
