In 2020, COVID-19 paralysed trade fair activities throughout the world. This year, fairs are picking up again, and in September Vecoplan AG will take part in events in Germany, Russia and England. Experts from the Recycling & Waste division will share their extensive know-how with existing and potential customers and explain the company’s latest systems and machines.
Vecoplan will be represented at several international trade fairs in September. The first event is WasteTech, which will take place from 7-9th September in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow. This trade fair is an important gathering for the regional waste management and recycling industry. A number of prominent speakers will report on innovations and trends in this sector. A week later, from 15-16th September, LetsRecycle Live will be held in Stoneleigh, England. The event will feature seminars, demonstrations and presentations. Vecoplan will have a stand here too.
At both trade fairs, Vecoplan’s experts will report on solutions for sustainable waste treatment and economical, flexible handling of refuse-derived fuels. In the cement industry, which is very energy-intensive, many manufacturers use refuse-derived fuels to reduce their costs. After processing, the material must be homogeneous and have a specific particle size range.
Visitors will be able to learn in direct talks how this can be achieved through modern shredding solutions. Another focus will be on solutions for recycling plastics. Vecoplan not only offers the requisite know-how, it also provides machines and systems that shred, convey and process primary and secondary raw material so that it can be returned to production in a closed cycle.
Plastics recycling will also be the main topic at the Plastics Recycling World Expo in Essen (Germany) from 29-30th September. At Vecoplan’s stand B276, under the banner ‘Unlimited Plastics Shredding’, visitors will learn about its highly efficient shredders that are able to deal with all kinds of input materials. This versatility is becoming increasingly important because closed cycle waste management puts high demands on recycling systems.
