SDS26 to offer global insight into materials

The Surface Design Show will open its doors in February 2026, welcoming visitors and exhibitors from across the world, including Europe.

From Belgian rugs and textiles to timber from The Netherlands, SDS26 is set to showcase an impressive range of international craftsmanship and design. This year’s show is poised to be a true cultural hub, celebrating creativity and innovation from all over Europe.

To demonstrate this broad insight into materials and surfaces, the exhibition will feature renowned companies from across Europe, all of which are engaging with the show’s focus on Material Evolution, exploring sustainability and inventive reuse. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover transformative design and unique textures through exhibitors from Belgium, Portugal, The Netherlands and Turkiye to name but a few.

Finemarq, for example, designs high-end marquetry for luxury yacht interiors, prime residential, luxury hotels and hospitality. It develops luxurious, refined and prestigious marquetry using innovative production techniques.

Creative studio, Wonderwall Studios is dedicated to designing distinctive salvaged wood panelling. Inspired by abandoned houses in Southeast Asia, Wonderwall started in 2010, employing skilled woodworkers from Java, Indonesia, since then its collection has grown, and its network has become global. Wonderwall Studios will host drinks at its stand on opening night where visitors can view the most recent collection, which includes Dune Teak and Wicker Teak, both of which are handcrafted in Indonesia.

With a strong line up of internationally acclaimed companies this year’s Surface Design Show will showcase the most innovative from across Europe.
