Rotpunkt reports strong performance in Q1

Having just won ‘Best Kitchen Stand over 30m2’ at Kbb Birmingham this March, Rotpunkt, leading manufacturer of climate friendly German fitted furniture is thrilled to report a strong performance in Q1 2026 with an 8% rise in sales and 11% rise in turnover.

Building significant momentum for the upcoming quarter across all domestic and international markets, Rotpunkt forecasts a double-digit percentage growth in turnover by March 2026, as order intake continues to develop positively.

According to Sven Herden, Managing Director of Sales and Marketing at Rotpunkt Küchen, “We’re set to achieve a rise in turnover of 11% in the weeks following the March 31 close, and given this follows a record high of €103.7 Million in 2025, we aim to use our ongoing success in kitchen furniture manufacture as a springboard for the new 2026 collection, which serves every room in the home.”

Growth: In the face of fluctuating markets, January 2026 delivered a strong start to the year with a large inflow of orders in the face of fluctuating markets. February experienced modest growth, with March indicating the strongest month for the company, with an upward growth trend confirmed in the first quarter of the year.

As the UK market continues to exhibit opposing variables similar to Europe, Rotpunkt considers the United Kingdom as one of the most important export markets moving forward for driving business growth and diversifying revenue. Outside influences like Brexit, the COVID-19 pandemic, and persistently high inflation helped to push the market into a phase of consumer caution, and while this is improving, the market remains challenging.

This said, the company recently observed a hugely successful show following Kbb Birmingham, and Sven says, “At Kbb 2026, we were able to strengthen existing partnerships and forge new contacts with positive signs for industrywide growth starting to emerge. For us personally, there was a clear sense of interest in our new products with exciting opportunities for collaboration in the pipeline.”

Expansion: “In general, we are experiencing a stable market trend throughout the company and as we navigate business in 2026, we will show the necessary respect to the economic and geopolitical challenges influencing our market," explains Sven. "In such a turbulent market, it is extremely important to stay close to our partners and provide new impetus through ongoing new product development. We remain hopeful that the positive results in the first quarter will continue throughout the rest of the year however, we are mindful that the economic situation across many markets does not give cause for unqualified optimism quite yet.”

Future-ready innovation: Consolidating a strong position in the marketplace, Rotpunkt Küchen continues to invest in production and infrastructure at its headquarters in Bünde, Germany. Speaking candidly, Andreas Wagner, managing partner of Rotpunkt Küchen says, “At the moment, I sometimes get the feeling that more lorries are delivering new machines to us than kitchens are leaving the factory. But it is precisely these investments, which are necessary for maintaining a strong position for Rotpunkt Küchen in the long term.”
