Resounding success for Daltons Wadkin event

Daltons Wadkin’s recent Wood & Panel Machinery Show, held from 8-10th October at the company’s Nottingham factory and showroom, has been hailed as a triumphant exhibition for all that attended.

Drawing over 30 companies from across the UK and Ireland, the open house event showcased the latest innovations in industrial machinery for processing solid wood, wood-based panels, composites, and metal.

The event received glowing feedback from all attendees, affirming its position as a key fixture in the industry calendar.

One of the show’s stand-out features was the live demonstration of the Kimla BPF three-axis CNC router with linear drive technology. The router’s speed, precision, and reliability made it a focal point for many visitors.

Moreover, Daltons Wadkin proudly unveiled the all-new Kimla five-axis ‘mini-mill,’ an exclusive for the UK market. This cutting-edge technology captivated manufacturers, offering new capabilities in terms of precision and versatility for those working with complex materials.

The Salvador range of automatic cross-cut saws also drew significant interest, particularly from businesses aiming to enhance their production efficiency. Known for their high performance and reliability, these saws are increasingly seen as a must-have for companies looking to streamline operations.

Another show highlight were the impressive SCM edgebanders, which performed live demonstrations to great acclaim. SCM is renowned for their market leading technology with models tailored specifically for small- to medium-sized panel processors, further demonstrating the versatility and range of machinery on display.

Alex Dalton, managing director of Daltons Wadkin, expressed his satisfaction with the event: “We have enjoyed welcoming customers new and old to our extensive showroom. The display of equipment was bigger than ever, with demonstrations running all day. A diverse range of manufacturing industries attended, including woodworking, aerospace, automotive, educational establishments, and government authorities.”

This year’s Wood & Panel Machinery Show exceeded expectations, offering attendees a first-hand look at the latest machinery innovations and sparking fresh interest across a wide range of industries. Daltons Wadkin has once again set a high standard for industry exhibitions, and the success of this event bodes well for future showcases.
