Following an intensive construction phase, the new, state-of-the-art building in the De Bruwaan industrial park was officially inaugurated. Together with the entire team, the mayor and members of Oudenaarde Town Council, as well as the project partners, the successful move-in was celebrated on 5th August 2026.
Those present included Supervisory Board Chairman and Co-owner Andreas Lang, CEO Karsten Jänicke, Joan Porquera (General Manager, Roof & Water Care) and Pedro Arrebola (General Manager, Pool), Renaat Demeulemeester (former General Manager, Roof & Water Care) and Mario De Clercq (Managing Director, RENOLIT Belgium N.V.).
Where outdated buildings had previously made day-to-day work difficult, the new building now offers state-of-the-art working conditions, optimised logistics solutions and a clear commitment to the future of the site.
Where outdated buildings had previously made day-to-day work difficult, the new building now offers state-of-the-art working conditions, optimised logistics solutions and a clear commitment to the future of the site.
The new building, designed by the project developer WEAREREAL and constructed by the building firm Willy Naessens Industriebouw and GC ARCHITECTEN, covers an area of around 10,000 square metres. Equipped with eight modern loading bays and innovative logistics systems, the building enables a highly efficient supply chain and even better customer service. A particular highlight of the new site is located right at the top of the flat roof: this is protected by RENOLIT’s own ALKORPLAN roofing membrane.
The site has been located in the De Bruwaan Industrial Park since the late 1970s and has been part of RENOLIT since 2006. After production was relocated to Sant Celoni in Spain in 2012, logistics and administration remained in Oudenaarde. However, the old buildings, which were shared with Syensqo (formerly Solvay), made administration complex and resulted in high maintenance costs. With the move to the new building, just a few hundred metres away, RENOLIT is now finally closing this chapter at the former production site. The previous site has already been successfully sold; the transaction will be formally completed in the coming months.
The new site not only offers staff brighter, ergonomic offices, but also strengthens the strategic role of RENOLIT Belgium. From here, the team manages customer service, the warehouse and sales for the Pool and Roof & Water Care market units across the Benelux countries. At the same time, the building is home to a dedicated team responsible for international sales management as well as technical and marketing support for Roof & Water Care.
