Radecal Machines debuts at the W Exhibition

First-time exhibitor, Radecal Machines, will be showcasing a variety of its newly evolved Piranha range of CNC routers at this year’s W Exhibition.

Celebrating a decade of development the north-east-based CNC, laser and cutting machinery specialists will be making its debut at this year’s four day event as it maintains its continuous path of improvement after surpassing the 4000 milestone in machine sales this year.

The company has expanded rapidly over the last 10 years with the growth coming as a direct response to the industry demands for in-house cutting and manufacturing.

Higher expectations from the market has resulted in Radecal presenting to the industry new and innovative products and equipment, with higher outputs and the ability for businesses to increase production at affordable costs through its constantly developing range, which visitors will see in operation at this year’s exhibition.

The team will be displaying its best-selling, high performance CNC routers including the Piranha Pro 1313 with its new design and clever features such as integrated T-slot clamping systems, enhanced rail guarding, full extraction system and a 7.5kW quick release spindle enabling super fast tool changes all with a new method of command – a dedicated control podium equipped with a PC-based Windows system and NC Studio software.

Alongside will also be its Piranha ATC 1325 CNC router, which combines a British-designed, heavy duty build, high specifications, quality components with its new x10 carousel automatic tool change to create an unrivalled, professional-grade machine. Included are Yaskawa Servo drives, a Syntec controller system and an impressive 9.0kW air cooled Italian HSD spindle all working together to offer superb performance for any routing job.

Although this is Radecal Machines’ first appearance at the UK’s only dedicated woodworking machinery show, the company itself is no stranger to the industry with the likes of woodworkers and kitchen and furniture manufacturers being a large percentage of customers making the bold move from outsourcing to in-house manufacturing at a cost-effective level and even those without prior experience of using heavy duty, CNC machinery.

The company has expanded smoothly with regards to training and technical support offered from Radecal, with one customer saying: “After recently deciding to expand my carpentry business, I decided to invest in a CNC router. After considering my options I chose a Piranha 2030 CNC. I was shown the operations of the machine and trained by the technicians in all aspects. When they had finished I felt confident to use my new CNC.”

The team will also be displaying equipment from its popular laser ranges which can be used across a variety of applications to process materials such as acrylic, woods, MDF, leather and even fabric to name a few. Radecal will be holding demonstrations on its stand, M505, offering the opportunity to see the Piranha range in full operation for those wanting to witness its capabilities first hand.
