Leading national interiors’ title, House Beautiful Magazine, has crowned PWS’ Second Nature Fitzroy range with its prestigious 2016 Gold Award for Best Value Kitchen. Pipping brands such as Schuller, Caple, Burbidge and Benchmarx to the post, Graeme Smith and Jill Lundberg, PWS’ senior designer and press officer, were proud to accept the award on behalf of everyone at PWS.
Hosted in the impressive setting of the British Film Institute, the event celebrated the best in homes and interiors and was attended by over 200 design professionals, interior celebrities and short-listed award finalists.
The awards’ judging panel was made up of leading names in the design world including Sophie Conran, John Rocha, Tommy Walsh, Chris Haslam, Pippa Jameson, Oliver Heath and Nick Knowles. Now in its 12th year, House Beautiful
Magazine’s editor, Julia Goodwin, opened the ceremony, saying they had received a record number of entries with the calibre of products being higher than ever.
Graeme Smith, senior designer at PWS, says: “It was a really proud moment when Fitzroy was announced the Gold Award winner. An affordable Shaker design, Fitzroy offers a premium aesthetic creating schemes that are elegant and refined, with the look and feel of a hand-crafted kitchen and it really deserves this accolade.
“The standard of entries across all categories was extremely high, with household names such as John Lewis, Roca, Harlequin, AEG, Liberty, Little Green Paint Co and Stove also collecting Gold Awards.”
Second Nature retailer Matthew Parnum of Ice Interior says: “Fitzroy delivers high quality at realistic prices, allowing us to create designs that are credible and affordable alternatives to bespoke ranges that truly reflect my clients’ lifestyles and personalities.”
